SPORTS UPDATE – Boy’s Basketball Team – Region 17 Champions!

Boys Region Champs Smaller
 
We started the night out by honoring our 2 Seniors Dallin and Regan along with their families. During the day we had each player come in and sign a basketball for the Seniors and it was fun to see and hear the great things that were said to these boys. They are great players and they deserve the recognition that they recieved at tonights game.
 
JV Game: West Ridge won 58 to 36 against the Crusaders

The JV Game started off strong and finished the same way. The players continued to fight and play their hearts out until the very end. There was great defense and the Crusaders were unable to stop our boys. This was the very last JV game of the season and the boys ended their season off with flying colors. GREAT JOB BOYS!

Varsity Game: The Eagles brought home the win with the score being 66 to 26

The Varsity Game started off really strong as well. The boys played great ball and fought hard to make sure that they ended their season off with a BANG! As you can see with the points below everyone on the team helped bring home this victory. Our defense was strong and our offense was just as tough. Towards the end of the game we were able to bring in the JV team to finish the game as well as recognize the Seniors as they walked off the court. It was great to see the boys support one another. We really have been able to come together as a team and work hard for it all.

The basketball team came out tonight ready to fight for the title that was right before them. They played and worked hard to bring home another win for the team and teh school along with the Region 17 trophy. Each player has brought great things to this team and we could not have accomplished what we have if it was not for each and everyone of them. I am so proud of these young men and know that they will continue to work hard and practice hard to prepare themselves for the State tournament coming up next week. Our first game will be on Wednesday March 3rd in Richfield UT so if you are able to come and support the team please do so.
 
I appreciate all of the support that we have had so far this season. It is always great to be able to look up in the stands and hear and see the parents, brothers, sisters, staff and friends cheer these boys on. I have attached a few pictures from the game so you can see how happy these young men were after the game. Please congratulate them on their win when you see them in the halls or talk with them on the phone.
