Personally, I only work with adults; but I love hearing that young person's brains are being trained in a setting like West Ridge Academy. There is so much potential for neurofeedback to help change the trajectory of someone's life.

I do see college-age people quite a bit and find that their young brains make changes quite quickly. Examples are:

A freshman going from having social phobia and D grades to sophomore year getting Bs and organizing activities for a group of friends. A student who dreaded participation in classes being himself in class, speaking out and loving it.

I am sure you are seeing similar things with your students.

Many officers and men who served at Camp Floyd in Utah and Fort Bridger in Wyoming (then Utah Territory) during the Utah War (1857-1861) served with distinction in the Ciivl War including Major General Winfield Scott Hancock who received the Thanks of Congress for his actions against Pickett's Charge at Gettysburg, and Sergeant Frederick Fuger who received the Medal of Honor serving his guns at the brunt of that same charge. The list goes on to include many who served on both sides as generals as well as enlisted men. Two of Utah's Territorial governors were also Civil War officers.

Very informative. In this day and age it really has to be the effort of the parents to keep connected. As a parent, that is a job in itself
