Last night the Lady Eagles went on a long road trip to the city of Oakley, Utah. Our game against Oakley was the first game of the season and we finished that game tied 3 – 3. It is always fun to play against a team for the second time in a season. It is a way to measure the progress that the team is making.
The game started a little late and we were grateful for the faithful fans that made the drive to come and support us. Our defense played great the entire game. Carli P. played the first half in goal and was able to keep Oakley scoreless. Destiny S. played the second half in goal. She, likewise, did not allow any goals. That means that Oakley did not score any goals in the game… and it is hard to lose when the other team does not score.
Our offense was great. Especially Alexa L. She had two goals in the first half and two goals in the second half. Kaecia Y. also scored a goal in the second half.
The girls have been having a great time and we have been having an incredible time coaching them. they are learning, working hard, and are getting better.
